Introducing Butternut Squash Seed Oil and Roasted Pumpkin Seed Oil

We recently added these great oils to our Gourmet Oil line up. They both boast rich nutty and buttery flavors. Perfect for replacing nuts in baking and stuffing, finishing grilled fruit or vegetables, even roasting! They are freshly pressed weekly in small batches here in the U.S. Each bottle of squash seed oil contains seeds from 11 squash! These oils are definitely a unique find, drop by to taste for yourself!

Butternut Squash Seed Oil:

Ingredient: 100% pure butternut squash seed oil, not a blend.
Flavor profile: warm, buttery, nutty taste reminiscent of cashew or peanut
Uses: sauteing, grilling,or roasting vegetables and meats, or as a flavoring oil on prepared dishes.
Smoke point of 425 degrees F.
Lasts for at least one year. Store in refrigerator to extend shelf life.
Nutrition: Oil is high in polyunsaturated fat, and less than a third of the saturated fat in butter. Rich in Vitamin E. No trans fat or cholesterol.

Roasted Pumpkin Seed Oil:

Ingredient: 100% pure pumpkin seed oil.
Flavor profile: savory, sesame, roasted mushrooms, pistachio
Uses: drizzling over vegetables, salads, soups. Smoke point is only 250 degrees F, so avoid high heat.
Lasts for at least one year
Nutrition: oil is high in mono- and polyunsaturated fats, low in saturated fat. No trans fat or cholesterol.
